Day 1:  Arrive Chennai

Welcome to Chennai. On arrival our representative transfers you to the pre-booked hotel. 

Overnight stay at hotel in Chennai

Day 2:  Chennai-Kanchipuram-Mammalapuram-Chennai

After breakfast drive to Kanchipuram - anchipuram or Kanchi, one of the seven sacred cities of India has magnificent temples of unique architectural beauty is the evidence to its glorious Dravidian heritage. It is also known by its former names Kanchiampathi, Conjeevaram, and the nickname “The City of Thousand Temples”.

Mahabalipuram visit - Mamallapuram is absolutely a tourist town and one of the major attractions around Chennai, like the Shore Temple dedicated to lord Shiva ,Five Rathas or Pancha Pandava Rathas ,Thirukadalmallai, the temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu are some example of Indian rock-cut architecture at Mammalapuram.

Later return to hotel.

Day 3: Chennai / Madurai (Flight)

Morning after visit  beautiful Marina Beach is the second longest city beach in the world, Victoria Art Gallery, Bronze Gallery and Chennai Museum. The Fort St. George, San Thome Cathedral and Kapaleeswarar Temple

Chennai is the fifth largest city in India and the capital city of the Tamil Nadu. Chennai is the Musical and Cultural Capital of India. The city is known for its classical dance shows and Hindu temples. 

Later in time transfer to Chennai airport to connect flight for Madurai. Upon arrival in Madurai, meeting and assistance followed by transfer to hotel.

Day 4:  Madurai / Thekkady

Morning after breakfast visit Meenakshi Temple. Later contine drive to Thekkady. 

Madurai has a rich cultural heritage passed on from the great Tamil era more than 2500 years old. Madurai was an important cultural and commercial centre even as early as 550 AD. It was the capital city for the great Pandya kings. 

On arrival in Thekkady, check in at hotel.

Day 5: Periyar / Kumarakom

After breakfast, see the magnificent view of sunrise through Boat riding on Lake Periyar, one of India’s most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries, where you can watch wildlife at close range and also offer a superb chance to view the Flora and Fauna. Enjoy bamboo rafting and trekking is unique game in the Periyar National Park.

Later drive to Kumarakom. on arrival check in at hotel. Later visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary and Tea Plantation visit.

Day 6:  Kerala Backwaters Cruise

This morning enjoy the Backwaters of Kerala are a unique product of Kerala and are found nowhere else in the world. Backwaters are a network of lakes, canals and estuaries and deltas of forty-four rivers that drain into the Arabian Sea. The backwaters of Kerala are a self supporting Eco-system teeming with water life. The canals connect the villages together and are still used for local transport.

A houseboat cruise is the best way to experience the tranquility of the waters, to see glimpses of the lives of people who are shaped by them. The houseboat with all modern comforts lets you discover the countryside at your own pace.

Day 7: Kumarakom / Cochin

After breakfast drive to Cochin, on arrival check in at hotel. 

Cochin or Kochi is a vibrant city situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula in the breathtakingly scenic and prosperous state of Kerala, hailed as ‘God’s Own Country’. Its strategic importance over the centuries is underlined by the sobriquet Queen of the Arabian Sea. Informally.

Cochin is also referred to as the Gateway to Kerala and combination of Portuguese artistic and British monuments.

Evening a Kathakali Show a traditional art performance of Kerala. 

Overnight stay at hotel in Cochin. 

Day 8:  Cochin

After Breakfast proceed for a guided tour of Fort Cochin and the Jew Street in Mattancherry. Visit the synagogue, century’s old churches and palaces, colonial buildings, Chinese fishing net, Parikshith Thampuran Museum and the Museum of Kerala etc. Spend your evening on the nearby Fort Cochin beach or ferry across to Cherai Beach which is half an hour away and popular for swimming. 

Overnight stay at hotel in Cochin. 

Day 9:  Depart Cochin

In time transfer to Cochin airport to connect flight for onward destination.
